The fake concert of Prófugos del Anexo in Mexico City is generating controversy, as it coincides with another official event of singer Alfredo Olivas in Mineral de Reforma, Hidalgo. The tour of Prófugos del Anexo, which also includes Julián Álvarez, has been successful but faced difficulties in reaching Mexico City earlier, which disappointed their followers.
The alleged fake concert has been promoted on social media and the web, especially disseminated through the MexicoMusic page on TikTok. This page, under the name @mexicomusic_, has published several videos announcing the fake event for June 7 at the Explanada del Estadio Azteca, with ticket sales through the supposed "boletera777".
When contacting the number provided on the "boletera777" website, only an English message is received indicating that the number is out of service. Additionally, it is mentioned that the tickets would supposedly be available for pickup starting May 25 at the stadium box office, a rather uncommon practice given the existence of digital tickets.
The situation has raised suspicions of fraud since some details, such as the lack of social media presence of "boletera777" and the coincidence of dates with an official concert by Alfredo Olivas, make the truth of the announced event dubious. The page promoting the fake concert has no clear relation to the music beyond this event, and the description of its account includes a link to "boletera777".
In addition to the concert of Prófugos del Anexo, the supposed "boletera777" also announces other events, such as a concert by Jorge Medina and Josi Cuen at the Plaza de Toros La México, scheduled for November at Estadio GNP, and a concert by Tito Double P at the Pepsi Center which has not yet been confirmed by the artist. Tickets for these events are offered at prices ranging from $600 to $8,250, with warnings of price increases after May 2.
